Team Verify – 30 Minutes a Month Without Selling Or Changing Your Life

Team Verify is one of those amazing passive income opportunities that comes along every so often. I’m a huge fan of passive income as it allows you to earn money over and over for work completed just once. The flip side is when you exchange “time for dollars” aka…. the 9-5. Team Verify has created a unique passive opportunity paying to create rather than to sell.

The Product: A nationwide database tracking motor vehicles. Independent Specialists can earn passive income by helping build the database. The data collected aides in locating the possible whereabouts of vehicles of interest. Team Verify does the marketing of the database, you don’t have to. The data collected is all random, as a Team Verify Independent Specialist you are NOT searching for specific vehicles.

Now I know what you’re thinking… that sounds creepy. Well it’s NOT what it sounds like. No Tracking Vehicles – No Staking Out Residences – No Picture Taking – No Personal Information.
It’s Saturday and your parking your car at the Mall. Your still sitting in the drivers seat. You look across and notice that parked directly across from you are 5 vehicles with license plates in clear view. You write down the number, issuing state, address where you are & date and time for each. Can you do that a couple of times a month? DONE, fast simple and easy.

This is not a get rich quick scheme – they do not work & I wouldn’t be part of one. However, the forced matrix compensation plan helps increase your earnings potential. How much is up to you.

Watch the video below and if you are interested click here and learn some more about this great opportunity.

In-box Overload Is Overwhelming

  • Is logging into your email account starting to get a little stressful?
  • Are there 50 to 100 or more new emails waiting for you daily?
  • Are all the “Gurus” sending you the same offer in a different wrapper?
  • Do you find the task of opening them all something worth procrastinating on?
  • Has your unread total greatly exceeded your read ?

Mine was and something drastic had to be done. Tough choices, that had been put off for awhile, had to be made. Yes, it was time to sort by sender, unsubscribe, and delete. I know that it is hard to do. What if I miss the latest and greatest offer, what would I do?  I’d have to live through it which, wouldn’t be such a big deal. There comes a time when we must cut the string and… unsubscribe. Yes, unsubscribe, that dirty little word that the other side dreads.

Ask yourself – Am I even reading them? Are they me offering value or just a pitch? How many of the same pitch are arriving from different senders? Am I on multiple lists for the same sender? Is the same sender hitting my in-box multiple times each & every day?

Now evaluate your answers and realistically decide who stays and who goes. I just had to do that and I have to say I feel good about it. Why? Because my in-box is once again MY in-box. I can actually read my emails without the thought that I’ll have to spend days accomplishing it (everyday). As a general rule of thumb – If your in-box always looks like you just returned from a weeks vacation… maybe it’s time to do some cleaning.

Relationship vs Email Campaign

The LIST, we’ve all heard “It’s all in the list” and it is true. Most are on too many lists that always seem to push the latest newest coolest way to do it. The offers all differ in the BONUSES added from the affiliates arsenal. That’s just the way it’s done. The bigger the list the more conversions, a sales numbers game – the modern version of direct marketing, an envelope offer received in the mail.

  • Teaser subject line >>> Written message on the envelope.
  • Squeeze Page >>> Sales Letter
  • Bonuses and the Call to Action are the same

The problem in my opinion is that there is no relationship between you (target /buyer) and the seller (originator/marketer). It’s the same difference as going to a Mom & Pop store vs a Big Chain store. The Mom & Pop store owners will usually associate your name with your face (if you visit somewhat frequently). The same can’t be said for the Big Chain store, unless you actually know the person. To a Big Chain store the customer is just a number – period. Some stores hire greeters who say “Welcome to …” but even when they may have seen your face hundreds of times, they still don not know your name. Same is true for the cashiers and customer service people.

It All Comes Down To Relationship

Take a close look at the very competitive restaurant market. For the waitress/waiter to be successful (nice tip) they have to build a great relationship within a few seconds. We as the customer decide very quickly how much we like/dislike the waitress/waiter, which is going to decide the % of tip.

Were they cheerful and smiling?

Did they engage us in quick enjoyable conversation?

Where they friendly?

Do we like them?

These are just a few of the factors that determine where the experience falls on a scale of  0 to 10. Closer to 10 = a return visit. Why? Because we all like to go back to where we had an enjoyable experience. If you become a regular they all start to know you by name. It’s a great feeling when you can sit down and without asking your drinks are brought to your table. It makes you feel important. This is a perk of the relationship and it did not happen over night or from just one visit, it had to be developed over time.

Relationship Marketing has to be developed over time. Not everyone will buy everything nor buy right away, maybe never. But, they could refer others through word of mouth. Never underestimate the power of the relationship.

Guest or Pest, How are you perceived?

When conveying your message, the recipients will view you as either a welcomed guest or an unwelcome pest. This is very important and yet widely over looked. With email, social networking, blogs, etc. it is very easy to be the pest rather than the guest. We are constantly being hammered with offers or, as I like to call it… BEING SOLD TO. In-boxes flooded, hopefully opt-in, with affiliate offers for the latest and greatest product launch. This is the nature of the business but, too much can & does move some from guest to pest.

Follow the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Simply put, if you don’t like it don’t do it. Remember your recipients feel the same way you do.

Be The Guest NOT The Pest

It is much better to be the guest. Guests are invited in and treated as friends and as such have a relationship. Relationships do not happen over night, they are built over time. Built on a solid foundation, they are stronger and will have longevity. Offer value and don’t make your offer a footprint in the sand. Your business will thank you in the end.

Al

Unfortunately for most it is the latter. While thinking they are in control of their own life and destiny, they really are not. The majority of people are under someone else’s  control. Being told what, when and how to do everything during their day. Take an honest look at where you are and decide if that is where you want to be. If not, then start the transformation in to where you want to be.

Change Occurs Daily in the World

If you are still living in the 50’s then, you need to wake up. What is living in the 50’s? Simply put, having a job, going to work & collecting a pension when you retire. That was yesterday’s yesterday. Today, there is zero loyalty from corporations to their troops. The employee is not a liability not so much an asset. Tomorrow the controller can decide to pink slip you without a care in the world. Bye.

All Your Eggs in One Basket – Bad Idea – Diverisify

For most the job keeps all your eggs in one basket and we know what happens when that basket drops. So that is why we all need to have a backup plan and diversification allows us just that. A proper backup plan starts before the basket of eggs drops rather than waiting for it to happen and then sorting out the pieces of broken shell. The best backup plan is to start your own small business.

A small business not only provides some extra cash but also allows for tax deductions that only a business can take advantage of. Much is written on the subject of small business tax deductions and not being a tax expert I should leave that for you to discuss with yours. Do so as it will open your eyes wide when you hear it from an expert.

What To Sell

Well the world is full of options. Myself, I like Affiliate Marketing and Direct Sales. The reason is that they require low funding and are easy to set up. Affiliate Marketing is collecting a commission on a sale by simply referring the buyer to the seller. Or by reselling a product (usually informational) that you have permission to resell. Direct Sales (a.k.a. Network Marketing) is when you sell a product or service for a company and then also teach others to do the same. You then receive a commission on the sales generated by you and those below ( (downline) you for a few levels.

Now, let me say this… Not chain letters or ponzi schemes – they are illegal and not worth the trouble or risk.

If you desire a better lifestyle that can provide more control of your life then I think you should take a close hard look at the benefits of a direct sales business opportunity. There are a lot of people, today, living that dream. They have freedom and total control over their lives. Wouldn’t you like to have that freedom and control also?

Well, you can have it, if you truly desire it. You’ll possibly have to commit to change. Why? Because what you are currently doing isn’t working for you. How much you change and what you do is totally up to you. You will only get out of it what you put in to it.

Part time or full time, the choice is up to you. One of the biggest benefits of direct sales is that unlike other vehicles (job, retail store etc.) the people above you (upline) have a vested interest in your success. And, that is extremely important. Knowing that they want you to succeed will help you reach your goal.

It’s easy to see that in order to create wealth you will need to create a downline. Why? Because the work of many produces greater results. Greater results, in this case, is the creation of passive income. Passive income is the ability to generate income without having to be there to create it. Your chosen money machine vehicle works for you and your downline 24/7/365 days a year. As sales are made while you are on vacation – you earn.

A direct sales company, and there are lots of them, reward their people with the money a typical business would spend on advertising through different media outlets. Word of mouth advertising at it’s best. It’s your mouth so why not get paid for it.

That’s all for today, take care and remember… It’s your life, live it they way you want to.

An Additional Year of Neglect Ends

Personal reasons led to a year long hiatus. I said personal so no mention and no public, we all know what happens when the Google bots crawl. Anyway, it’s been awhile and it’s time to get back in the game.

One thing I need to decide on… the Theme. I think it’s time to move forward and look for something fresh. Undoubtedly, there will be configuration problems to deal with as WordPress 3.0 is due for release sometime soon. So the search begins, guess I’ll see where it leads and where it ends.

I did fix the link to the “Money As Debt” video, which I feel everyone should watch. So, if you haven’t… Please do. A well spent 47 minutes of animated information.

More to come. Feels good to be back…

I don’t know how many times I read a report and within the first couple of paragraphs the errors start showing up. It becomes an effort just to atempt to read the typed words of the author. It’s fine when an author just needs to get it out of their head, down and saved. But, before you go further with it, reread it yourself. This simple easy step is really being overlooked. It’s your work and a direct reflection of you.

When the reader encounters words strung together in to sentences that can’t easily be read the effort outweighs the information. In other words, they have to reread sentences that are either missing words, using incorrect words, or repeated words that should not be repeated just to try and figure out what the writer is trying to convey. When the reading becomes difficult the reader quits. It’s just not worth the time required to read poor quality.

You no what I meen. Ho difcult would it be fro some one two quit simple simply corret the poorer spelling wiht the correct spelling of the word.

Imagine attaching your name to that as the author. Your credibility is at stake. Do you honestly feel that someone who could have paid for such poor quality would actually want to do business with you? Form my point of view, if the author can’t find the time to proof read their work then why would I want to invest in time in them?

Now maybe the words were curned out by spinner software. That would explain the poor quality but, doesn’t justify the fact that the author still did not proof read it before just slapping their name on it and pushing it out the door.

So in closing, Please proof read your work or at the very least get someone qualified to do it for you. Trust me, you’ll be thankful you did.

Neglected – Why? & Back

I’ve neglected up1level for sometime but, I did have a reason. So, what is that reason?

Right after the stse2.0 launch (issues there but history now) I went in search of a new SEO friendly theme for up1level. I found it in Semiologic. I really liked it, SEO friendly and offers a variety of options. Great I thought finally a theme I can stick with for a little while and not have to go thru change issues that can occur. One never knows until it happens. Once it happens, your day changes to fix & repair. That is something I decided I didn’t want to do.

Then, came the dreaded news…. Semiologic SOLD to Darrell Ridley. That was in Sept 2008. IMO when something is sold, you never know what the future of the product will be. How many times has something been purchased and run in to the ground. I can remember Yahoo gobbling up and today most of those have been broken down and excreted.

So in order to avoid the potential migraine like the plague I, went in to avoid (negelect) mode only posting and updating at the bare minimum.

Well, today just out of curiosity I decided to check out the Semiologic website. Good (old) news for me, Darrell Ridley backed out and Denis, after a lot of aggravation, is back in control of Semiologic.

So with that said, up1level is back on my radar and I have a lot of catching up to do. More frequent posts are on the way. Just one last task to accomplish… TAXES :( ((

I’m getting all that together and once I’ve met with my taxman, up1level will get back on track.

Google Chess Game – Clutter Cleanup Cycle

At SSWT a friend, Elliot, posted about Perry Marshall’s ” Google is cracking down on
multiple industries they have deemed “Illegitimate.”

It’s a little ironic that I read Elliot’s post this morning because yesterday morning on the radio the DJ’s were talking about Facebook and it’s birthday. Jackie was telling Scott the good of using Facebook. You know reconnecting with old friends, current friends, classmates, etc.

Scott’s reply was something like: I don’t like Facebook because it has become just a bunch of
“I can show you how to a million dollars….” Scott isn’t alone, either.

Knowing what I know it started me thinking. How and Why???

Google is the Ruling Family of Internet Search. The King and Queen so to say. Google sets the rules that all others must play by. For the non-monetized / minimal monetized website there is little impact on alogarithm changes. But, the same is not true for the SEO optimized players.

SEO optimized players (bishop, knight & rook) are the monetized sites. The monetized sites will engage Google at different aggressive levels to better their search results page rank. Stirving for the coveted “Google Page 1″. Being so difficult to acheive due to the limited amount of results available on page 1, the SEO optimized resort to employing tactics and stratagies.

It is these very tactics and stratagies that creates the clutter. As more and more sites employ tactics and stratagies the amount of extra webpages increases by the millions. Are they all neccessary? Yes for page rank but, no for knowledge / information.

Seriously, how many ways can something be rewritten? When you get right down to it, it is all the same. It relates to math.

The Sum of Numbers

The amount obtained by adding numbers. Or, the answer to an addition equation. On a relatively small scale It looks like this:

1+99 = 100, 2+98 = 100, 3+97 = 100 until it reverses and arrives at 97+3 = 100, 98+2 = 100, 99+1 = 100

The point is that the sum is always 100 while only the equation changes. The information = the numbers and the sum = the total pages. It all boils down to the the lowest sum which would be 1. 1+0 = 1. Everything else is just a different writing of that. As more knowledge is discovered that knowledge would replace or just added to the previous version.

Back in the old ages, pre-internet there were encyclopedias. Lets say the average family would have had a set. As a child we had “World Book” and every year we would get a book that contained updates. There was not a need to have additional encyclopedias, one did the job.

Jump forward to today and do a Google search and look at the total results. I just searched the term “chess” and the coveted page 1 has “Results 1 – 10 of about 45,6000,000 for Chess”.

This is all at a very high level and it is understood that “chess” is a broad keyword term and the results do drill down to long tail keyword phrases but, it does demonstrate the point…

The internet has become cluttered with redundant pages created solely for the purpose of Google juice. That is fine because that is what Google created when they set the rules for how a page will rank. Now Google feels it is time for a change.

A chess move as Google has captured one of the IM pawns. Now it is IM’s move in the ever changing world of internet search.

The current woes of the world economies is really not an unexpected occurrence. Have you ever wondered how countries can operate with huge budget deficits? Can you operate your household on a large deficit? Well, sort of with the use of credit.

Operating in the RedLiving On Borrowed Money - Money As Debt

But that raises the thought:
If governments operate on very large deficits (the United States deficit is over $1 Trillion) along with most business operating on borrowed money add in consumer debt (mortgage/auto/credit card/etc) where is all the money? All the “digital” money does not really exist. It is created digitally not physically. Money is loaned out based on money that is owed. This type of system is set to eventually fail from the start.

“Borrowing from Peter to Pay Paul” is what is actually taking place. Think about this… Let’s keep the numbers relatively small so it is easy to follow.
Total amount of money in the entire system  = $1,000,000.00 (one million USD)
Total amount of money loaned out on credit = $1,000,000.00 (one million USD)
10% Interest owed on total amount of credit  + $  100,0000.00 (one hundred thousand USD)
Total amount of money (debt) owed (P+I)       = $1,100,000.00  (one million one hundred thousand USD)

Now, let’s say the total debt = $1,1000,000.00 is called and payable right now. Is it impossible to pay? NO. Why? It’s really very simple there is only $1,000,000.00 Total Money Available, remember.
So, where will the $100,000.00 come from if it doesn’t actually exist. Think about the bigger picture.
Didn’t the Great Depression start from a “run on the banks”?

You be the judge:
A) Ponzi Scheme
B) Poor Management
C) Greed
D) All of the Above

And that is why our monetary system was doomed to fail from the very beginning and the sad fact is that the ones who oversee it – Knew It From the Beginning.

Watch this video as it will open your eyes as it sheds some light on this fragile house of cards that has been built. Something to think about. I think you’ll enjoy it.
